These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services and products provided by [Your Business Name], including lash and brow treatments, brow tattooing, digital products such as e-books, and retail aftercare products. By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or downloading a digital resource, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
General Terms
Belle Beauty is an Australian business providing professional beauty services, digital learning resources, and beauty products. By engaging with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel appointments, or decline sales where these Terms are not adhered to.
Booking Appointments
A booking fee is required to secure any lash or brow appointment. The booking fee will be applied toward the total cost of the service on the day of your appointment. Booking fees are non-refundable if the client cancels or fails to attend, subject to the exceptions stated below. For in-salon bookings, the booking fee must be paid no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled appointment. Our team will contact you to confirm payment; failure to pay within this timeframe may result in the appointment being cancelled.
If Belle Beauty cancels an appointment or is unable to provide the booked service for any reason, the booking fee will be refunded in full or credited toward a rescheduled appointment, unless you agree otherwise. This refund obligation does not limit any other remedy you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Reschedules and Cancellations
Clients may request to reschedule an appointment up to three (3) times. If you exceed this limit, we may cancel the appointment and the booking fee may be forfeited. We recognise that exceptional circumstances arise (for example, illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen events) and will consider such situations on a case-by-case basis.
All cancellations must be made with at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid potential charges. Where appropriate notice is given, and subject to our discretion, your booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment time. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of the appointment may incur a fee of up to 100% of the service price; this fee will be assessed case-by-case, taking into account the circumstances and whether exceptional reasons apply.
Late Arrivals and No-Shows
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than ten (10) minutes late without prior notice, we may still perform your service but you may incur a late fee. If you arrive fifteen (15) minutes or more late without prior notice, we may treat the appointment as a cancellation; in that case, you may be charged for the remaining balance of the appointment and the booking fee may be forfeited. Any future bookings following a late cancellation may require full prepayment at the time of booking.
If you fail to attend an appointment without providing notice of cancellation at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance, we may treat that as a no-show. In the event of a no-show, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings or to require full prepayment for future services. We will always consider genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
Service Disclaimer
All clients must follow pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided by our technicians. We are not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow these instructions, undisclosed allergies, or the effect of previous services performed elsewhere. While every reasonable care is taken to ensure safe and high-quality treatment, beauty treatments carry inherent risks which you accept by proceeding with any service. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law if a service fails to meet the consumer guarantees (for example, services must be rendered with due care and skill and within a reasonable time).
Digital Products (E-Books and Guides)
All digital products, including e-books and downloadable resources, are delivered electronically. Digital products are non-refundable for a change of mind; however, where a digital product is defective, not as described, or fails to perform as advertised, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law (for example a refund, replacement, or other remedy). All digital resources remain the intellectual property of Belle Beauty and are licensed for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, reproduction, or sharing without written consent is prohibited.
Physical Products (Lash and Brow Aftercare)
All product sales are subject to availability. We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately but packaging, labeling, or formulation may change from time to time. Customers are responsible for reading product labels and instructions before use.
If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the fault. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds for aftercare products, but we will comply with statutory consumer guarantees. If you suspect an adverse reaction to a product, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.
Payments
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is required at the time of booking for services or at the time of purchase for products unless otherwise agreed in writing. Refunds and Remedies
Refunds are not available for change of mind, dissatisfaction arising from personal preference, or failure to follow aftercare advice. However, consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded by these Terms. If a product or service does not meet a consumer guarantee (for example it is faulty, not fit for purpose, or the service was not delivered with due care and skill), you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement or refund. We will handle all claims in accordance with applicable law.
Intellectual Property
All branding, written content, digital products, training materials, and website content are the intellectual property of Belle Beauty. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute our content without prior written consent.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belle Beauty excludes liability for loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our services, digital products, or physical products except as required by law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
We collect, store and use personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws and principles. Personal information collected during bookings, purchases or communications will be used for the purposes of providing services, fulfilling orders and communicating with you. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services or products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
